Vijay Raghavendra’s Second Case of Seetharam postponed to early 2026
The release of Vijay Raghavendra’s investigative thriller, Second Case of Seetharam, has been postponed to early 2026. Initially set for November 28, the filmmakers have opted to seek a new release date due to shifting circumstances in the industry.
Change in Release Plans
Following a series of film releases scheduled for November 2025, the production team decided to abandon their original release plan. This decision was influenced by director-producer Deviprasad Shetty, who saw new business opportunities that he wished to pursue.
“November 28 was initially decided as it would be 2 weeks before Darshan sir’s The Devil arrives. But with that out of the window, there was no chance for a December release,” Shetty explained. He noted that January is also filled with major releases, including titles such as Jana Nayagan and Raaja Saab.
About the Film
Second Case of Seetharam marks the third collaboration between Vijay Raghavendra and Deviprasad, following their previous work on Case of Kondana. The film continues the storyline from the first Seetharam movie, featuring Gopalkrishna Deshpande as the antagonist.
Usha Bhandary, currently seen in the comedy heist drama Bank of Bhagyalakshmi, also joins the cast of this upcoming thriller.
